30 minutes south of Denver is the town of Larkspur, Colorado here you will find the Colorado Renaissance Festivel. This eight-week extravaganza features court jesters and jousters, a King and his Queen, fun acts, turkey legs, a petting zoo and even full suits of armor for sale. Only on the weekends the Colorado Renaissance Festival is running this year from June 14th thru August 3rd.

Yes every year! The Renaissance Festival is a great event and very fun. Make sure you catch the many different shows. I also recommend going early to beat most of the crowds and heat but make sure you do not go after a rain storm since it can get pretty muddy.
