35th Annual Telluride Film Festival

Telluride Colorado Film FestivalTelluride Film Festival The 35th telluride Film Festival will be held in August 29th through September 1st 2008. The festival has nearly 40 film programs shown in the eight Festival venues. The best way to attend the Telluride Film Festival is to buy one of our three passes: Acme, Festival or Patron, because, depending on the level of the pass, it admits you to the Shows and events of the Festival throughout the entire weekend. Only passholders are admitted to the social gatherings, and in the theatres they are seated before any individual ticket purchasers.

Location:
As flights into the Telluride area are limited, so you may want to consider flights into one of these neighboring Colorado towns as well: Montrose, Cortez, Durango, Grand Junction or Gunnison. Telluride Express offers ground transportation services from these airports to Telluride, just call 888-212-8294 for more information. The closest near-by major cities are Denver and Albuquerque. They are approximately 350 miles northeast and southeast, respectively, of Telluride.

Price:
Individual Tickets are 20.00 per show and all seven indoor theatres put individual tickets on sale ten minutes before show time if there are seats available after passholders have been seated

Passes will be on sale beginning March 1, 2008.
The Acme Pass ($420) provides admission to all programs in the Chuck Jones’ Cinema, located in the Mountain Village (accessible by a free, 12-minute gondola ride from town), plus the Labor Day Picnic, as well as, two shows of passholder’s choice at any of the in-town venues except the Sheridan Opera House.

The Festival Pass ($680) provides admission to all events, including the Opening Night Feed and Labor Day Picnic, and admission, on a first-come, first-seated basis to all cinemas with the exception of the Sheridan Opera House, where admission to two specific randomly selected programs is provided.

The Patron Pass ($3900) Includes a tax-deductible donation of $1,900
This pass provides priority admission to all of the films, tributes and events of the Festival at all locations. Patrons have priority seating at all theatres and are guests of honor at the Guest/Patron Brunch at the Skyline Ranch on Friday Morning and also at the “Patron’s Preview,” the first screening of an important new film on Friday afternoon.

  1. Allyn Hart Said,

I want 2 acme passes for the 2008 telluride film festival and for the life of me I can’t find where to order them online. Please HELP! We’ve attended every festival since 1980 when we first moved to Ophir. Thanks, Allyn
