There are many great Ice Fishing lakes in Colorado but the Best is Blue Mesa Reservoir. Blue Mesa Reservoir is more than 20 miles long and has nearly 100 miles of shoreline it is the largest body of water in Colorado. With that much space you will not have a problem finding a good fishing spot. You will also have many different fish species to choose from. Blue Mesa has Rainbow, Brown, Brook, Cutthrout and Lake Trout along with land locked Kokane Salmon.
