If you have a small child and are looking for something to do let me suggest the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster, Colorado. This is a place where your child can really learn about Butterflies plus other insects. There are many different exhibits you can tour that will have you talking for days.
The Tropical Conservatory is 7,000 square feet of a Tropical Forest with 1,200 Butterfly species and over 350 plant species. There is also a few animals in the exhibit - 2 doves, 15 land and water turtles, frogs, crabs and many more different animals.
Hours
Doors open at 9 am and close at 4:15 pm.
Facility closes at 5 pm.
Closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
