The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is the Rocky Mountain region’s leading resource for informal science education. A day at the museum is a perfect outing for any family. If possible, try to incorporate an IMAX movie or a show at the planetarium. And don’t forget lunch at the T-Rex CafĂ© or Snack Bar and shopping at the gift shop. The entrance to the Underground Parking Garage is on the west side of the Museum’s north parking lot, by the main entrance. There are 550 underground spaces on two levels, including multiple spots for those with disabilities. But if you can’t find a space underground there is additional parking located on the east side of the Museum, facing Colorado Boulevard, and to the south of the Museum, along the access road that intersects 17th Avenue. There is also parking along E. 22nd Avenue just north of the main lot, along Lake Avenue to the west of the Museum, and just north of the Denver Zoo in City Park.
