When paying a visit to Colorado, don’t forget to spend some time in Denver Zoo. This is one of the attractive tourist spots within the city. Besides, most of the Colorado residents spend their sunny day here, at Denver Zoo. This zoo is home for more than 4000 animals of over 750 different species. It is a home for many endangered and rare animals namely the Western Lowland Gorilla, the Komodo Dragon and endangered cheetahs.
The animals in this zoo are divided in various exhibits which result in the recreation of their natural environment. African Savannah and Bear Mountain are two exhibits. This zoo was built in the year 1918, and was the firstexhibit zoon in the US. Also, the country’s first natural gas powered train is being operated here.
