Colorado River raftingRiver Rafting is said to be as one of the exciting sport and it was invented in Colorado. In the recent days, river rafting is becoming more popular all over the world. A few notable rivers in Colorado that are popular for river rafting are the Colorado River, the Arkansas River and the Dolores River. Each of them gives a unique experience.

The Colorado River starts in the Rocky Mountains and extends up to 1,500 miles. It is termed as one among the majestic rivers in all over the world, which stretches up to Gulf of Mexico. The Arkansas River begins near Leadville and extends up to Arkansas, by cutting through Oklahama and Kansas, ends up in the Mississippi River. There are so many famous sights on this river which includes Big Horn Sheep Canyon and Royal Gorge.

The Dolores River is 250 miles in length that runs through the different states of Utah and Colorado. Various rafting events are happening around the year, in each of the above mentioned rivers. Keep rafting; Have fun!!!
