I went to Alpine for skiing last year, where the Olympic player Errol Kerr is going for a visit by 2010, for Winter Olympic games. When I was there, I stayed in Lake Tahoe Ski Resort which is one among the best resorts in the Alpine, as far as my knowledge goes. There are many websites where you can book the available rooms in the resort, online. I booked my room online, when I was planning for the skiing trip. Fortunately, the room I got has a good view of skiing. The best thing about this resort is, they often conduct events. Unluckily, there were no events when I was there. But, something is gonna turn out in next few days.

Lake Tahoe is located in Sierra Nevada mountain range and is the second largest and the deepest alpine lake in North US. There are many other good sky resorts in Alpine, though I bet you cannot afford to miss your stay at Lake Tahoe resort. Now, I’m gonna tell something about my Skiing in Lake Tahoe. The temperature plays the major role, I’d say. It was 39 degrees Farenheit, when I was enjoying skiing there.

The total skiable area is around 17520 acres, which comprises of 535 total groomed trails. Annual average snowfall is 35 feet and 300 sunshine days a year adds additional pleasure for skiing lovers. I was there with my friends, who later told me that they enjoyed the trip oganised by me. To be honest, they first didn’t agree to come with me. I compelled them to accompany me, who then arranged for another tour program to Alpine in 6 months time. I have been to almost all the top ski resorts in Colorado but this one trip will always be in my memory. I must say apart from our sweet Colorado, California is also very good in terms ski resorts.
