Be there. Don’t miss it from August 13-16. It’s the 41st edition of Annaul Palisade Peach Festival. There will be loads of fun and lots of new activities in the downtown Palisade. There will be Union Pacific’s Miniature Historic Parade Train, Alpaca Showcase, and many more events.
Palisade Peach Festival
The festival will begin with Palisade’s agritours and Ice Cream Social and Street Dance. The ice cream and Palisade peaches, and dancing to the sounds of Swing City Express is free. The ice cream social includes the following:
- Passing of the torch between the outgoing and incoming Town Grouch
- Coronation of the 2009 Peach Queen
- The debut of the Union Pacific’s Miniature Historic Parade Train
The 14th and 15th of August are highlighted by the Peach Festival at the Riverbend Park. The main activities here are as below:
- Vendors
- Kids’ rides
- Peach Cuisine with Colorado Chefs
- Peach Eating Contest
- Musical entertainment in the Grand Valley
- Please note that there will be the new Alpaca Showcase across the parking lot.
