Steamboat Ski Resort is a majestic and major ski area in Northwestern Colorado. The Ski Resort is operated by the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation of Steamboat Springs city.
Steamboat Ski Resort is nestled amidst Mount Werner, Park Range at Routt National Forest. The Ski Resort first opened its door to the public on 12th January, 1963.
Steamboat Ski Resort is has 165 named trails, 18 ski lifts and is home to the Mavericks Superpipe snowboarding/skiing, which is one of the premier pipes in the whole of North America.
The season at the ski resort begins on the 24th of November and stretches till 10th April. The ‘Champagne powder’ ski condition is unlike any found in other ski resorts.

Copper Mountain Ski Resort or Copper Mountain Ski area is a winter palace and one of the best ski holiday destinations in Colorado. It is located in Summit County and opened in late 1972.
Copper Mountain Ski Resort is divided into three villages on the grounds of lodging, dining and entertainment facilities – East Village, The Village at Copper (also called Center Village) and Union Creek. Copper Mountain season begins on November 5th through April 24th.
Copper Mountain elevation from the base is 9,712 feet/2,926 meters and the summit elevation is at 12,313 feet/3,767 meters. Copper Mountain Resort has a total of 22 ski lifts 125 trails, four bowls and one high-speed six pack.Copper Mountain Ski Resort is no doubt a perfect place for a getaway with family or friends with amazing world-class skiing and snowboarding along with many indoor and outdoor recreational activities, food and lodging!

The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club is coming back with their Annual Winter Carnival 2011 in early February. Celebrating their 98th anniversary this year, the club is gearing up with all the more fun activities, maintaining its age old heritage since 1914.
The whole purpose of this festival is to help the folks overcome their cabin sickness in winter and join the fun and interaction with the entire community through the festival.

Denver Zoo was found in 1896, Scientific and Cultural Facility District funding the set up partly. Situated at the City Park, Denver, Colorado, USA, the zoo devours a total area of 80 acres of land. The City and County of Denver owns and maintains the zoo. The zoo was elected the most popular paid attraction of Denver metropolitan in the year 2005.
Denver Zoo started with a donated orphan American black bear. It is the first of its kind in USA to opt for naturalistic zoo enclosures and not typical cages for the animals. The bear mountain of the zoo is the first of its kind in the entire USA.
Post the huge environmental and popularity success of constructing the Bear Mountain in the zoo campus, the Primate Panorama was ideated and brought to reality. This space has three segmented parts via which the animals are interchanged in their arrangement of position so that their smells overlie with each other giving the zoo a more original touch of forest like ambience.
Denver Colorado Zoo is recognized by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and is also enrolled with the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

Winter Park Snow Fest celebrates the winter season with a special winter festival held at the Winter Park Resort in Colorado. The event is also a celebration of one of Winter Park’s most adored and famous gals – Mary Jane.
The winter Park Snow Fest 2011 will be having a birthday bash in honor of Mary Jane along with other festivities like live musical stage performances, a dazzling firework display and lots of enjoyable activities for the entire family!
