Loveland Ski Area History:
Loveland Ski Area Colorado first began its service and welcomed guests to its slopes on 1936. It was only in 1941 that the area was formally named the Loveland Ski Tow Inc.
Loveland’s first ski lift was installed in 1955 and was referred to as “Chair 1” and the next season “Chair 2” was built. In the summer of 1998, Loveland Ski Area obtained the approval of the Forest Service to install a quad chair to the summit – “The Ridge”; this was mostly because of the excessive snowfall received in the area.

One of the most visited restaurants is the Red Mountain Grill in Dillon; it specializes in Mexican fusion cuisine and lets you enjoy a cold beer at their signature beer garden or sip on margarita.

Guests can also step into The Cala Inn at Summit County and is known to be the only traditional Celtic restaurant in Colorado. It is an exclusive Irish pub situated between Dillon and Keystone. Mountain View Sports Adventure – Mountain View Sports provides tour and bike rentals to all those who are interested in outdoor activities. All sorts of mountain bikes are available here, like recreational bike, sports bike, performance, junior bikes and rollerblades can also be rented.

Horseback riding at Aspen Canyon Ranch – go back country horseback riding along with professional wranglers. Each day get to experience the thrill of new trails and become a better and confident rider. This activity is open during June and goes through to September.
