Denver Broncos is a professional American football located in Denver, Colorado. At present, the team is a member of AFC (American Football Conference) Western Division in the NFL (National Football League). The Broncos have clinched “Conference Championship” 4 times in the years 1977, 1986, 1987 and 1989 respectively. The 2008 Denver Broncos season is their 39th season in NFL (49th franchisee season for the Broncos). Mike Shanahan will continue as the Head coach, for 14th consecutive year. Brandon Marshall (wide Receiver) missed the first game, although his suspension got reduced from 3 games to 1. This time, Denver kicker Jason Elam will be replaced by Matt Prater. Broncos new punter will Rookie Brett Kern.

For the 17th straight time, former Bronco great Randy Gradishar was left out of the Hall of Fame party, but there’s no reason for Bronco fans to be surprised. That’s not a slight at Grandishar, either. After all, he put in his time with Denver and became one of the top players of his time. The reason we should have seen this coming is that, to put it frankly, the National Football Hall of Fame has something against the Broncos. 
Mike Shanahan is a part of the establishment in Denver, but that doesn’t mean that he is free from any and all talk of job security. For the better part of a decade, the Denver Broncos have been among the NFL’s elite. Constantly drafting well and making the right personnel moves, Shanahan and the Broncos have established themselves as one of the better teams in all of football. Still, one can’t help but wonder if things are getting a little bit stagnant in the Mile High City. It’s time for owner Pat Bolen to make the right move and change things up a little bit. Now is the time to get rid of Mike Shanahan and move another direction.
