Colorado Rockies
It’s that time of the year again where the legends of modern American Major League Baseball vie to be the best! Part of the Colorado Rockies game is the Colorado Rockies Home Opener where the mighty Colorado Rockies take on the Arizona Diamondback.
The Colorado Rockies Home Opener 2011 is being showcased by the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club.

Colorado Rockies is a supreme Major League Baseball team from Denver in Colorado. The team was formed back in 1991 and started playing in 1993.

On-site and Off-site Parking- Parking space is available on-site at Coors Field in Lot A for $15 and at Lot B for $13. R.V and bus parking is also possible at $25 at 22nd and Wazee Streets, 27th and Blake Streets. Also, parking space is there for motorbicycles in Lot A for $13. There are also many parking spaces near the field. Please note that the Coors Field parking lots open 2 1/2 hours before game time. Parking tickets cane be purchased at the Coors Field ticket windows.

The Grand Valley Winery Association is an aggregated forum of 8 winery areas, to create awareness among the people about viticulture. Grand Valley is the largest and oldest of the American Viticulture Areas in Colorado. The most awaited Denver wine tasting event is about to be back in vineyards again. The 2011“Barrel Into Spring” Wine Tasting Event will be held on 30th April and 1st May 2011, and 14th & 15th May 2011.
The “Barrel Into Spring” Wine Tasting Event is a fine get together for wine lovers and people involve in viticulture, to explore more about the fruit and the beverage made out of it.

The tickets could be purchased by contacting the GVWA. The tickets would cost $60 each person if purchased before 29th April 2011. The tickets for dinner on 29th April 2011 is $87.50 each person. GVWA wineries offer the participants a discount of $15 on the barrel tasting even.
The profits from the wine tasting event after the basic expenses will be donated to the Marillac Clinic.

The Annual High Plains Snow Goose Festival is back celebrating its 9th anniversary this year. The festival would start from 24th February 2011 and go on till 27th February 2011. Jeffrey Gordon, the new President of American Birding Association, is the keynote speaker this year. Apart from being a bird guide, he’s also a naturalist.
Cherish the view of milky white and shiny slate-grey flocks of snow geese at flying back to their homeland in Canadian Arctic and resting for a while mid-way at Lamar in south-east Colorado.
These migratory species of birds halt in Lamar on their way back from their migration in spring season. They perch near the various lakes of the plain land and nourish on the adjoining patches of lush.

The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club is coming back with their Annual Winter Carnival 2011 in early February. Celebrating their 98th anniversary this year, the club is gearing up with all the more fun activities, maintaining its age old heritage since 1914.
The whole purpose of this festival is to help the folks overcome their cabin sickness in winter and join the fun and interaction with the entire community through the festival.

The Ouray Ice Festival is the biggest international ice climbing festival where expert ice climbers, ice climbing enthusiasts, and gear developing exhibitors gather to experience the thrill of ice-venture at the festival with all the safety measures. The festival is held at the Ice Park at Ouray every year since 1996. The pioneer of ice climbing, Jeff Lowe, promotes the event. The Ice Festival is always scheduled to start on the Thursday and drags till the Sunday before the Martin King Luther Day in January.
The festival span chart many climbing clinics from advanced to beginning, a great opportunity to meet and see some of world’s most renowned ice climbers in action, and check out the latest gears on the art. There are a lot more activities enlisted in the festival like walking on a tight rope across the gorge, the axe throwing competition, and many more such thrilling and adventurous activities. The festival organizers have groomed a special climbing wall for the kids. The festival features film screenings and slide show presentations, and special auctions for climbing gears.
This is a great opportunity to enhance the ice climbing skills and even to get ice climbing lessons for the novice. Some great ice crampons and other ice climbing equipments can be found at the auctions held at the Ice Park during the Ouray Ice Festival.

The nearest airport to the city of Ouray is Montrose Regional Airport which is 35miles drive away from the town. The Ice Park is at the
southern end of the city where highway 550 begins to climb towards the Red Mountain Pass.
Weather Condition At Ouray
The town is not much humid in climate nature. Days are usually sunny through out the year. Average summer temperatures range between 70’s and 80’s during day and 50’s at night. July afternoons experience drizzles in the town.
The winter temperatures are usually 40’s on the high and higher teens on the low with an average snowfall of 140 niches accompanied with occasional heavy snowstorms.

Colorado State Fair Event
Get your tickets soon for the renowned Colorado State Fair scheduled from August 28 to September 7 at 1001 Beulah Avenue in Pueblo. This is one of the happening fair of entertainment as well as educational events for everyone and is also known as the oldest form of family entertainment. It has served as a connecting point for communities for more than 130 years.
More than 485,000 people gather in this fair and enjoy the big name concerts, extreme sports, wild carnival rides, top notch livestock and horse shows. Come 15th and 16th August you get a golden chance to browse varieties of beautiful art on 11th Street, West of Washington Avenue, at the 19th annual Golden Fine Arts Festival. This is one of the most accessible arts festivals of Colorado.
Colorado Fine Arts Festival
In downtown Golden this is one of the most renowned open-air art galleries in a gorgeous foothills setting adjacent to the Clear Creek for its quality, affordability, ambiance and proximity to the metro area. Around 35,000 people or even more will witness the beauty of art.
The festival will host 140 high-quality artists of whom 80 per cent are from Colorado. Artists in eight categories will be awarded here. There will be a total cash award of over $1,800. This well-known festival will feature several media such as the below mentioned:
